പൊതു വേദിയില്‍ പ്രസംഗിക്കാനെത്തിയ പ്രമുഖ സാമൂഹ്യപ്രവര്‍ത്തകനും എഴുത്തുകാരനുമായ ശ്രീ. സി. ആര്‍. നീലകണ്‌ഠനെ ഡി. വൈ. എഫ്. ഐ. ഗുണ്ടകള്‍ ആക്രമിച്ച സംഭവത്തില്‍ ഫ്രണ്ട്സ് ഓഫ് ടിബറ്റ്‌ പ്രതിഷേധിക്കുന്നു.
“ചിന്തിക്കുവാനും പ്രതികരിക്കാനും കഴിവുള്ളവരെ നുളയിലേ നുള്ളിക്കളയുക എന്ന ലകഷ്യത്തോടെ പ്രവര്‍ത്തിക്കുന്ന ഡി. വൈ. എഫ്. ഐ. എന്ന സംഘടനയെ ഭീകരസംഘടനകളുടെ പട്ടികയില്‍ ചേര്‍ക്കണമെന്നുള്ള ആവശ്യം ഈ സംഭവത്തോടെ ശക്തിപ്പെട്ടിരിക്കുകയാണ്” എന്ന് ഫ്രണ്ട്സ് ഓഫ് ടിബറ്റ്‌ പ്രസിഡന്‍റെ സേതു ദാസ്‌ പറഞ്ഞു. ഡിമോക്രറ്റിക്‌ യൂത്ത് ഫെഡറേഷന്‍ ഓഫ് ഇന്ത്യ എന്ന പേരില്‍ പ്രവര്‍ത്തിക്കുന്ന ഈ സംഘടനയുടെ പേരില്‍ നിന്നും ഡിമോക്രറ്റിക്‌ എന്ന വാക്ക് എത്രയും പെട്ടന്ന് എടുത്തു മാറ്റണമെന്നും അദ്ദേഹം ആവശ്യപ്പെട്ടു.
പാലേരിയില്‍ തനിക്കെതിരെ നടത്തിയ ഡി. വൈ. എഫ്. ഐ. ആക്രമണം അവരുടെ ഫാസിസ്റ്റ്‌ മുഖം കേരളത്തിലെ ജനങ്ങള്‍ക്ക്‌ കാണിച്ചു കൊടുക്കുകയായിരുന്നു എന്ന് മര്‍ദ്ദനമേററ ശ്രീ. സി. ആര്‍. നീലകണ്‌ഠന്‍ പറഞ്ഞു. സ്വതന്ത്രചിന്തക്കെതിരായ ഡി. വൈ. എഫ്. ഐയുടെ ഈ ആക്രമനെത്തെ കേരളത്തിനുടനീളം പ്രതികരണശേഷിയുള്ള രാഷ്ട്രീയ-സാമൂഹിക പ്രവര്‍ത്തകര്‍ പ്രതികരിച്ചുകഴിഞ്ഞു.
Friends of Tibet condemn the attack on India Kerala , India
"Democratic Youth Federation of India, which has an official policy to crush and oppress people with the ability to think and react to social and political issues should be added in the list of terrorist organisations," demanded Sethu Das , President of Friends of Tibet in a media release issued by the organisation. He also demanded the word 'democratic' to be removed from the youth organisation’s name to reflect the real ideology of the organisation and to avoid confusion among its own members.
While speaking to the media, Shri. CR Neelakantan said the recent attack on him at Palery shows the real and the fascist face of the DYFI. The attack on 'CR' and the tendency of DYFI to oppress the thinking section of the community in Kerala are already been condemned by people from various fields.
